Golf Everything Pty Ltd (trading as GolfEverything, ABN 59 697 040 261) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through golfeverything.com.au, how we use it, and who we share it with.

Although GolfEverything's annual turnover is currently below the threshold that automatically applies the Privacy Act 1988 to a business, we handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles as a matter of good practice, and we'll keep this policy current if that legal position changes.

What we collect

  • Contact and order details you give us directly: name, email address, delivery address, and phone number if provided, when you place an order, sign up for price alerts, or subscribe to our newsletter.
  • Payment information: payments are processed securely by Stripe. We don't see or store your full card details — Stripe handles that under its own privacy and security standards.
  • Browsing information: standard technical data (IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed) collected automatically when you use the site, and cookies used for site functionality and analytics.

How we use it

  • To process and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
  • To send price alerts and our buying-intelligence newsletter, where you've opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
  • To improve the site and our product comparisons.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to run the business:

  • Stripe, to process payments.
  • Base44, our website platform and hosting provider.
  • Our delivery carrier, to get your order to you.
  • Retailer partners, if and when we establish affiliate or referral partnerships — outbound links to a retailer may then carry a tracking reference recording that the visit came from GolfEverything, so the retailer can pay us a referral commission. We don't have any such partnerships in place yet; we'll update this policy before any go live.
  • Government or regulatory bodies, only where we're legally required to.

Cookies

We use cookies for core site functionality, to remember your preferences, and for analytics (understanding how the site is used). If we establish retailer partnerships in future, we may also use cookies to track referrals as described above. You can control or disable cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to what we're legally required to keep, such as records needed for tax purposes). Email support@golfeverything.com.au and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Complaints

If you think we've mishandled your personal information, contact us first at support@golfeverything.com.au so we can try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business grows. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
